The upheaval of moving home is a stressful enough task, who needs the added hassle of scouring the internet looking for the right property, wondering if it's in the right area? Are there good schools nearby? Are there good transport links? Let me take the pressure off. My name is Phil Strathie and have been working in the residential property field in Edinburgh for over 27 years ,I have the local knowledge and contacts to make your home search and relocation as seamless as possible.

Initial consultation.

The initial consultation allows me to get to know you, to find out what your idea of the perfect apartment or house is. What specific requirements  and needs you have.
Edinburgh has an excellent selection of both state and private schools, this can often be a major decision on where you will look to stay. I can give you advice on catchment areas for schools and can also look to set up appointments with any private schools you may wish to visit.  

Shortlist of Properties.

Once I have an idea of what it is you are looking for I will complete a thorough search of all available properties and filter out a selection of the most suitable. I will then arrange viewing times to suit you and then collect you from your chosen location. I shall  accompany you on all viewings and afterwards we can sit down  and decide how you feel about the properties and how you would like to move forward. I will assist in completing application forms and advise on setting up utilities if necessary ,such as gas and electricity accounts, council tax  as well as broadband and telephone suppliers.  

Lease signing and settling in.

 When we have secured your chosen property I will arrange with the agent a suitable time for you to sign the lease and collect keys, I shall accompany you to the lease signing and assist you through the process.I can accompany you to the apartment and ensure you are settled in and are comfortable with your new property.
I can also assist in sourcing suitable school's, dental and medical practices or areas's of personal interest that you may have . Sometimes you just need a friend in the city to help you settle, Hopefully you will see me as a professional friend that can point you in the right direction.
