Moving abroad is a complicated process, made more so by the fact that most letting agencies will not let potential tenants rent a property without someone first viewing it in person. Not wanting to fly to Edinburgh just to view flats, we hired Phil Strathie to help us in our search, and we couldn't be happier with the result. After taking the time to get a solid understanding of what we were looking for, Phil visited numerous properties for us over a period of several weeks. At every property, he recorded detailed information, such as room dimensions, the general state of the property, etc. He also took photos at each property to give us a better sense of what flats were "really" like. Finally, Phil offered us valuable advice as to how well he believed each flat fit our needs in terms of the metrics we had originally discussed. Once we decided on a flat and went through the necessary paperwork to begin our tenancy, Phil was kind enough to collect and retain the keys for us until we arrived in Edinburgh.
